Legal Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of QuantCapitol. By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to them. Please read them alongside our Privacy & Disclaimer. Last updated: 2026-11-05 00:32 UTC.

1. Who we are

QuantCapitol is operated from the Netherlands by its independent operator. You can reach us through our contact page. The operator's full business registration details — the registered legal entity, its address, and its Chamber of Commerce (KvK) and VAT numbers — are available on request by email via that page.

2. What the service is — and is not

QuantCapitol is an independent research and transparency tool. It presents US congressional securities disclosures and analytical measures derived from public data. It is not affiliated with the US government, it is not an insider-trading detector, and nothing on it is legal, financial, tax or investment advice. Interest scores, consensus labels and any backtested figures are analytical calculations on public data, not recommendations, and any backtested performance is a hypothetical simulation, not actual returns. You are solely responsible for any decision you make.

3. Accounts & acceptable use

You must provide accurate registration details, keep your credentials secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. You agree not to:

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.

4. Subscriptions, prices & payment

Some features require a paid subscription (Plus or Pro). Prices are shown on our pricing page and include VAT where applicable. Payments and invoicing are handled by our payment processor (Polar and/or Lemon Squeezy) acting as merchant of record.

Subscriptions are offered on a monthly or annual basis and renew automatically at the end of each period at the then-current price, unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time from your account dashboard; cancellation stops the next renewal and your access continues until the end of the period already paid for. We do not provide pro-rata refunds for a period already started, except where required by law.

5. Your right of withdrawal (EU consumers)

If you are a consumer in the EU, you normally have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. Because our subscription gives you immediate digital access, the following applies: by subscribing and asking for immediate access, you expressly request that we begin performance during the withdrawal period and you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once access has been fully provided, in accordance with EU consumer law. If you have not yet used the service, you may still contact us within 14 days to withdraw.

6. Intellectual property

The underlying disclosure data originates from public US government filings. Our selection, scoring, presentation, text, design and software are our intellectual property or that of our licensors, and are protected by law. You receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for its intended purpose. You keep ownership of content you submit (such as watchlists).

7. Availability & changes

We aim to keep the service available and accurate but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and data may be delayed, incomplete or revised as filings are corrected. We may add, change or discontinue features, and we may update these terms; material changes will be highlighted and the "last updated" date above will change. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

8. Liability, governing law & disputes

Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, QuantCapitol is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from decisions you make based on the information provided. Nothing here excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under Dutch law, including liability for intent or gross negligence, or your mandatory consumer rights.

Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes will be submitted to the competent Dutch court, unless mandatory consumer rules give you the right to a different forum.

Online dispute resolution. EU consumers can also use the European Commission's ODR platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

About this data. Sourced from official House Clerk and Senate eFD financial disclosures (Senate via a maintained community mirror — see project documentation). Transaction amounts are reported as ranges, not exact figures. Interest scores, consensus labels, and backtested performance are proprietary analytical calculations based on public data and are not investment advice. Backtested performance is a hypothetical simulation, not actual portfolio performance.
